Hi, I'm Emily Michelle!


I'm currently 21, and I'm the face behind the camera. Growing up, I've always loved taking pictures. I was constantly taking my mom’s camera to take photos because I’ve always loved capturing the moment. After graduating in 2021, my family gifted me my own camera, and I was so excited to be able to take pictures. Since then, I've been working on my photography skills a lot by taking pictures of friends, nature shots, family shoots, senior photos, and more. Photography is important to me, and I want to feed that passion as much as possible.


Growing up, I was homeschooled, which was a huge blessing and a benefit during troubling times in my life. I was able to get my general education, and still have enough time to be involved in church activities, spend quality time with friends, and participate in all my favorite hobbies, like dance and especially photography! After graduating, I wasn't sure where my journey was going to go, and I spent a year figuring life out until God led me toward North Central University. I am currently studying as an English major (specifically literature), and I love being here!


I've always lived in Minnesota, but moving from a small town to Minneapolis was a bit of a culture shock. I love living in the cities, and it gives me many opportunities to get my camera out and capture the world's beauty.


Some fun facts about me!

  • I love to travel. I've been all over the States, and I hope to travel internationally soon so I can experience all sorts of different cultures!
  • I'm currently engaged! I'm a 2024 bride and beyond excited to spend the rest of my life with my husband-to-be!
  • I'm a music maniac. My music taste is pretty specific, but it also ranges. You can catch me listening to either indie rock and metalcore, worship, and pop-punk, or even kicking back to a good old-school Christian playlist. I'm always more than willing to share music recommendations.
  • I'm a Christian! I grew up going to church and learning how important Christ's love is.
  • Although I'm an introvert, I love to spend time with my close friends. I'm a sucker for spending quality time with the ones I love!
  • I love stuffed animals. I actually have a growing squishmallow collection!
